Continue to touch-up paint walls and door framing throughout where needed. Repair damaged wooden wall paneling in hallway area on 4th floor near elevator. #18. Label all disposable water pitchers with the resident's/patient's first name and last name. 15A NCAC 18A .1314 (a). Observed drinking pitcher not labeled 2T palmetto- 2 rooms. Observed single service articles cups not protected on counter top in 4T palmetto. #30. Medication carts shall be cleaned when visibly soiled. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (c). Observed pill crusher soiled on 3T palmetto. Thoroughly clean pill crusher. #42.All potentially hazardous food products shall be maintained at 45°F, or below, or 140°F or above except during necessary periods of preparation and serving. 15A NCAC 18A .1323 (a). Observed chicken and vegetables stored in calm shells on table in ED nourishment room 1248. Per conversations with nursing staff time stamps are usually placed on clam shell trays with a start and disposal time. Clam trays of food discarded at time of inspection. Observed milk in refrigeration unit 47F (1T palmetto). Milk discard at time of inspection.
