General Comments

C. Elmore evaluated the gauges set up for demonstrating TDH on the system. The systems was backwashed with C. Elmore present and then put into service. The PSI gauge read 20PSI for the discharge pressure, the vacuum gauge read 15.5 In. Hg. Using the formula (discharge pressure reading x2.31)+(Suction pressure reading x1.13)=TDH, C. Elmore got a TDH of 63.72 for this system. As this is greater than the reported TDH 56.37 the system does not currently present a suction hazard with the drain covers installed. PAPER PERMIT WILL BE AVAILABLE ON-LINE SO THAT IT CAN BE PRINTED OUT BY THE FACILITY MANAGEMENT. IT MUST BE PRINTED OUT AND POSTED WHERE IT IS VISIBLE FROM THE POOL DECK AREA. STICKER ISSUED. POOL IS NOT APPROVED FOR NIGHT SWIMMING. IF NIGHT SWIMMING IS DESIRED, A NIGHT SWIMMING EVALUATION MUST BE PERFORMED. CONTACT C.
