No demerits were issued for the following: 2. Observed trash bag leaking on the floor in the biohazard room on the 100 hall. **Keep all flooring clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). 14. Observed no disinfectant in either shower rooms during the inspection. Ensure that disinfectant is always accessible in shower rooms. **A cleaning detergent and an EPA registered hospital disinfectant shall be accessible to all bathing areas. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (f). 28. Observed storage closet in need of cleaning in physical therapy storage closet in the resident dining room on the 100 hall. Needs to be rearranged/cleaned. **Suitable rooms or spaces shall be provided for the storage of all necessary equipment, furniture, and supplies, and kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1318 (a). 33. Observed towels thrown on the floor in the corner of the restroom in room 211. Needs to be removed. **Soiled laundry shall be handled and stored separately from clean laundry using separate cleanable carts or bags. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (b). 36. Observed microwave in need of cleaning in physical therapy and the pantry on the 300 hall. **Non-food contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at such intervals as to keep them in a clean and sanitary condition.
