NO POINTS #8-Keep all handwashing facilities clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (b) Observed a hand sink inoperable in med room, 2nd floor. Keep all handsinks operable. Keep all toilet equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (b). Observed 2 loose toilet seats. Keep seats tightened. Handwashing sinks shall be accessible to all areas where personnel may be exposed to bodily excretions or secretions. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (d). Observed blocked hand sink, soiled util 1st floor. Keep sinks accessible at all times #11-Except for the stipulations stated in rule .1312 (d), handwashing sinks shall only be used for handwashing. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (d). Observed a couple sinks that served a purpose other than handwashing. Recommend putting up a this is not a hand washing sink sigh. #15-Cross-connections with sewage lines, non-potable water supplies, or other potential sources of contamination are prohibited. 15A NCAC 18A .1313 (d). Observed a missing backflow preventer in room 3116. #32-All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). Observed debris/sticky areas in bedside tray tables in several rooms. Make sure these areas area being cleaned and disinfected. #36-Non-food contact surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at such intervals as to keep them in a clean and sanitary condition. See rule .1320 (c). Observed 2 refrigerators in nourishment rooms with spills on shelving. Keep shelving clean.
