General CommentsEHS noted that there is a refrigerated truck trailer wing used for extra storage of frozen meat department items. PIC stated this is due to holiday overage. When additional refrigerated storage is needed, this space must be temporarily added to the permit as space requiring inspection. All items for meat department were frozen today in this trailer. Ensure temperatures are taken regularly of the food items. This set up does not pose a food security risk due to the opening of the truck being within the back part of the store. In the future when additional refrigeration space is needed, please call the health dept at 980-314-1620 in order to advise of the addition and so that it can be verified.
