General CommentsPOOL IS NOT APPROVED FOR NIGHT SWIMMING. SIGNS GIVE THE CLOSING TIME OF THE POOL AS 8PM DEPENDING ON THE SIGN. THE POOL CANNOT BE OPEN FOR SWIMMING AFTER SUNSET OR BEFORE SUNRISE. CHANGE THE SIGNS TO REFLECT THIS, FOR EXAMPLE THEY COULD READ “POOL OPEN FOR SWIMMING FROM DAWN TO DUSK” OR “POOL OPEN FOR SWIMMING FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET”. NOTE: SALT NOT APPROVED FOR PRIMARY CHLORINATION UPON ARRIVAL IT WAS NOTED THAT THE AUTOMATIC FEEDER SYSTEM DID NOT APPEAR TO BE POWERED ON. IT WAS ALSO NOTED THAT THE EROSION FEEDER APPEARED DAMAGED BEYOND PROPER USE DUE TO SOME MANNER OF CRUSHING. ENSURE THAT THE AUTOMATIC FEEDER SYSTEM WORKS, THAT THE AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF FOR THE FEEDER WORKS, AND THAT THE AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF CAN BE TESTED TO DEMONSTRATE THAT IT WORKS. I.T.S. ISSUED, DEADLINE IS 10/30/2026. CONTACT C. ELMORE AT 704-507-6814 WHEN CORRECTIONS ARE MADE. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT THE DAMAGED BACK-UP EROSION FEEDER IS REPLACED WITH A PROPER NSF COMPLIANT REPLACEMENT. CHLORINE CANNOT BE ADDED TO THE POOL BY HAND TO CORRECT LOW CHLORINE FOR OPERATION. CHLORINE MAY ONLY BE ADDED DIRECTLY TO THE POOL FOR SHOCK OR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES WHEN THE POOL IS CLOSED AND IS TO REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL THE SHOCK CHEMICALS HAVE SETTLED OUT AND THE POOL CHLORINE RESIDUAL IS BACK TO BEING MAINTAINED BY THE CHLORINE FEEDER SYSTEM.
