Observed hazardous items such as chemical cleaners, disinfectant wipes, and aerosols being stored in classroom restrooms and classrooms of main building and modular buildings. Ensure manufacturers instructions for storage are followed, "Keep out of reach of children". Observed Ajax cleaner being stored directly on top of paper towel roll in janitors closet of C hall. Store chemicals below paper products to prevent contamination possibilities.
**Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). |
