5-402.11 Backflow Prevention (P)
There is a direct connection between the kitchen’s 3-compartment sink drains and the waste line piping. A direct connection may not exist between the sewage system and a drain originating from equipment in which food, portable equipment, or utensils are placed. The facility was built prior to 2012. If the kitchen is ever remodeled, an air gap will need to be installed beneath the 3-compartment sink as well as any food prep sinks that may be added. R |
