The chlorine concentration of bleach sanitizer solution being held inside of a sanitizer spray bottle was 0 ppm during today’s inspection. A chemical sanitizer used in a sanitizing solution for manual or mechanical operations shall be within the required concentration range. For chlorine/bleach-based sanitizers, the required concentration range is 50 ppm to 200 ppm. The REHS showed the person in charge that the sanitizer was not within the correct concentration range and added bleach to the solution. A final chlorine concentration of 200 ppm was observed. CDI |

An outdoor storage surface for refuse, recyclables, and returnables shall be constructed of nonabsorbent material such as concrete or asphalt and shall be smooth, durable, and sloped enough to drain to prevent the collection of surface water.
