2-402.11 Effectiveness - Hair Restraints (C)
A food employee (with long, waist-length hair) was observed bagging customer orders at the front counter area. A male employee was also seen transferring ice from the back ice machine to the front serving counter without wearing a hat or other hair restraint. Food employees shall wear hats, hair nets, or other effective hair restraints that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food, clean equipment/utensils, linens, and single-use items. |
