No demerits were issued for the following: 12. Observed bottle warmer with black build up on the warming basket. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly. **Bottle warming equipment shall be cleaned and sanitized at least daily and when visibly soiled. 15A NCAC 18A .2810 (f) (1) and .2804 (d). 32. Observed child sleeping on a mat with half his body on the floor in the cozy corner in the toddler 1's room. Ensure child be placed on individual labeled mat/cot when they are napping. Caregiver stated that the child fell asleep in the area. **All sleeping mats, used during nap time, shall be waterproof, washable, and at least 2 inches thick. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (b). **Individual linen shall be provided for all beds, cots, or mats. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (c ). **All cribs, beds, cots and mats must be labeled with each individual child's name. 15A NCAC 18A .2821 (c ).
