NO POINTS: #33: Carts used for soiled laundry shall be labeled for soiled laundry use only. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (b). Observed soiled laundry containers not labeled in beauty salon and faded in other areas. #35: Patient contact items shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (c). Observed several torn pillows that had been brought from the hospital as resident belongings. Replace when plastic cover is torn. CDI-all pillows removed. -Need shatterproof or covered bulbs in main supply room where food/beverages are stored. -Need documentation from company that makes the Med-Pass regarding storage and shelf life once opened.
