General CommentsEHS observed dry storage shelving for only one of the MFUs, Antojitos de Nagua, with items present. Antojitos corona and viva tacos y sabor did not have any dry shelving. All MFUs had designated labeled shelving in WIC but no items were stored on shelves. PIC stated that all MFUs continue to come to commissary. Ensure that shelving is maintained as this is a part of the commissary agreement. EHS provided another copy of V&D cleanup procedures. Observed one spray bottle labeled “Cloro (chlorine)”, when EHS asked PIC use of spray bottle, she stated it was used to spray down cutting boards after use. EHS observed concentration so strong that it whited out the test strip. Manager/owner stated that was not the bottle used for food contact surfaces, that there is normally a separate bottle labeled sanitizer that contains sanitizer at proper concentrations and is used on FCS. No violations marked today.
