.2528(a) Gate latches located at less than 54" shall require the use of key, combination lock or card reader or be located on the inside of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate with no greater than 1/2" within 18" of latch mechanism. Observed gate to have shifted so that an upper portion of the gate frame has a 1 inch gap. The rest of the gate frame has a gap of 1/2” or less. CPO reports that fence and gate will be replaced by the end of May 2025. C. Elmore will follow-up to verify the correction and evaluate the new fence and gate. C. Elmore gave the CPO access to the fence and gate requirement. The pool was built after 2010 so the full set or requirements apply. No permit action taken at this time. |
