4-202.16 Nonfood-contact surfaces shall be free of unnecessary ledges, projections, crevices, and constructed to allow easy cleaning and facilitate maintenance. Some of the shelving in the dry good storage room is starting to rust. Eliminate rust from shelving. EHS recommended a few options on how to eliminate rust. The options are remove rust with steel wool or sanding and paint with appliance paint, have the shelving resurfaced by powder coating, or replacing. They may be some other options that can be used.
4-501.11 Equipment shall be maintained in good repair. Water is ponding badly in the bottom of the milk boxes when going into defrost. Figure out why units are not draining or why it is pooling that much. |

6-501.12 Physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Clean vent in the room going to the restrooms on the bottom of the wall mounted HVAC unit. Clean floors in the back corners of the dry good storage room. |
