Observed scooper for ice machine stored unprotected. CDI PIC took scooper to dish room.

Observed both prep units holding tcs foods above 41F. EHS completed TPHC form for 6 hr hold with PIC. The prep units are holding the tcs foods below 70F. Facility will mainly work out of the WIC tonight and only bring out small portions of foods to be placed on TPHC. EHS advised that this is a temporary TPHC until the units are repaired. REPEAT VR needed 4-27-24 4-101.19/4-202.16 Non FOOD-CONTACT SURFACES of EQUIPMENT that are exposed to splash, spillage, or other FOOD soiling or that require frequent cleaning shall be constructed of a CORROSION-RESISTANT, nonabsorbent, and SMOOTH material. NonFOOD-CONTACT SURFACES shall be free of unnecessary ledges, projections, and crevices, and designed and constructed to allow easy cleaning and to facilitate maintenance. Observed rust on shelves in the WIC and storage shelf lined with cardboard. 4-205.10 Ensure equipment other than toasters, mixers, microwaves, water heaters and hoods is ANSI certified or equivalent. Observed facility using soda cooler to store ranch cups. The ranch cups were 52F today. CDI PIC voluntarily discarded cups
