Observed sanitizer solution (quaternary ammonia)too weak on two house keeping carts on 5th floor. Provide properly mixed sanitizer at all times so vanity within rooms can be cleaned and properly sanitized. Sanitizer in other sanitizer bottles on house keeping carts was reading to the correct strength 200PPM-400PPM. Make sure sanitizer dispenser unit is primed before filling sanitizer bottles.
Sanitizing solutions shall consist of iodophors, quaternary ammonium or other chemicals or methods that are equivalent to the action of 50 parts per million chlorine solution. 15A NCAC 18A .1809 (b). |
