Sanitizer that was being kept in a red bucket did not read on the test strip. This bucket was the only bucket that did not read, all other buckets and spray bottles read the correct concentration for chlorine bleach. The manager stated that the bucket was due for a change, there were many towels present in the bucket which can lead to absorption of the chemical, resulting in a low read. The manager also stated the water was hot, which could have dissipated the chlorine chemical. Since this was the only bucket that was an issue and it was also changed out by the manager, no points will be taken. CDI- Manager changed out the sanitizer water and REHS tested to ensure proper strength. |
