.2528(a) Gate latches located at less than 54" shall require the use of key, combination lock or card reader or be located on the inside of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate with no greater than 1/2" within 18" of latch mechanism. Observed the two pool gates to have gaps larger than 1/2 inch within 18 inches of the rear of the release bar. All of these gaps must be covered or reduced to comply with the above requirement. |
