3-501.18 Discard the food requiring date labels once time/temperature window has expired, if it is not been labeled, or if the label is incorrect. -P Observed roasted tomatoes in oil with prep date of 11/3. CDI- PIC voluntarily disposes of tomatoes. EHS advises PIC that the manufacturer label stipulating a 30 day usable window only applies in the unsealed container while under refrigeration. Once removed from the sealed bag, tomatoes should be dated for no more than 7 days. (-1.5) |
