General Comments

Inspection completed with Aziz Hugine and Rashad Henry present. Pool permit suspended due to no pool drain suction compliance (PDSC) paperwork submitted to health department prior to new pump installation. The health department also requires in-field plan review documentation. Both of these documents can be located on the Mecklenburg County public pools webpage. Pool placed on ‘E’ status. Contact Eli Freese at 704.621.2298 when documents submitted and approved to reopen pool. An intent to suspend the permit will be issued for record keeping for total alkalinity and cyanuric acid record keeping once weekly and missing signage if not in compliance when pool is reopened. For signage: the sign should be written exactly “CHILDREN SHOULD NOT USE THE SWIMMING POOL WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION” and “ADULTS SHOULD NOT SWIM ALONE.” Both of these signs should be at a minimum of 1 inch lettering height.
