General CommentsPool closed to swimming by Health Department. I.S. Issued. Call C. Elmore at 704-507-6814 when corrections are made. Pool cannot reopen for swimming until after the Health Department verifies corrections. When C. Elmore arrived at the pool the gate was unlocked and there was no "Pool Closed" sign posted. In order for a pool to be considered closed, the sign must be posted and it is recommended that the access gate be locked. Sign was posted during inspection. Chlorine cannot be put directly into pool for normal operation. For normal operation, disinfectant must enter the pool through the disinfectant feeder system, not by hand feeding. At least 1 chlorine tablet was observed in a skimmer basket. This is not allowed while the pool is open for swimming. It is only allowed while the pool is closed, and only then for something like shocking or winterization, not for normal operation. Tablet was removed. -CDI “issuance of a permit by this department does not negate closure required by Executive Order No. 120, 138, 141, 147, or subsequent Orders in effect unless such Orders are rescinded or superseded by another applicable Order.” NO SIGNATURE WAS OBTAINED DUE TO COVID-19 SOCIAL DISTANCING POOL IS NOT APPROVED FOR NIGHT SWIMMING. IF NIGHT SWIMMING IS DESIRED, A NIGHT SWIMMING EVALUATION MUST BE PERFORMED. CONTACT C. ELMORE AT 704-507-6814 FOR THIS EVALUATION IF NIGHT SWIMMING IS DESIRED.
