Lighting shall be capable of illumination to at least 50 foot-candles at work surfaces describe in 15A NCAC 18A .2826 (a). Observed lighting at diapering stations at 25 foot candles. Observed lighting at children's work tables, desks, and paint easels at 20 foot candles in two year old and Meck Pre K room. EHS advised facility to increase the lighting throughout center to be at least 50 foot candles in areas outlined in 15A NCAC 18A .2826 (b). Adjust lighting.
