No demerits were issued for the following: 21. Observed handwashing sink in staff restroom in need of re-caulking. **Keep handwashing sinks clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2818 (a). 34. Observed handle to dramatic play refrigerator broken in the Afterschool room. Needs to be repaired/replaced. **Toys, equipment, furniture, and any other items accessible to the children shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a), (b). NOTE: Ensure that staff is filling up water play centers at the start of centers versus when they come into the classes. Water should be removed at the end of centers and centers should be washed, rinsed and sanitized.
