Floors, walls, and ceilings of all areas shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2410. Observed stained ceiling tiles in media center, second floor hall, and in A215. Needs to be checked for leaks and repaired. |

Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed aerosol air fresheners, aerosol disinfectant, and disinfectant wipes stored in reach of children in several classrooms during time of inspection. Observed Flex room B132 holding chemical storage for custodial staff with door left opened and unlocked. EHS advises school to store toxic materials according to manufactures guidance that states, “keep out of reach of children” and lock doors to chemical storage. REPEAT. |
