At the beginning of the inspection the handwashing sink was found blocked as 1 cluster of flowers, 1 cleaning brush, and 1 bag of returned ( waiting to be discarded grapes) were found stored in the handsink. CDI by having all items removed from the hand sink. |

(General comment- no points taken) During inspection several items on the fruit self service island cooler were found at 43-45F. Upon further investigation it was found the cooler was coming out of defrost just prior to the start of the inspection. CDI by rechecking fruit at the end of the inspection and finding temps had begun to drop product was 43-41F. Recommend that employees begin logging the temps twice a day at this cooler due to its proximity to the front door and heat sources from other departments. |

6-501.11 - Repairing: Floors, walls, and ceilings including the attachments such as soap and towel dispensers; light fixtures; and heat/ac vents shall be maintained in good repair.
During inspection the1 small section of ceiling tiles had begun to fall in the far corner of the prep area ( away from any actual prep and next to the 3 comp sink) from what appears to be a ceiling rail detaching from the wall. Additionally a small gap around the pipes from the ceiling next to the walk in cooler needs to be filled/sealed. Repair all damage/gapped portions of the ceiling. |
