General Comments

NO POINTS WERE TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING: #4 - Observed cleaning and/or touch-up paint needed on walls and baseboards in restrooms. **Walls and ceilings of toilet facilities shall be constructed of non-absorbent, washable materials and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (b). #5 - Observed caulking needed where hand sinks meet the wall in the classrooms and restrooms of the red barn and in the Davis house. **Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b). #8 - Observed ceiling vents in restrooms with dust build-up in need of cleaning in the Davis house and red barn. **All windows and fixtures (grills, vents, blinds, drapes, lighting fixtures, etc.) shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2412 (b).

EHS advised maintenance to have door locked so that children cannot access closet when using restroom. Observed door to staff storage closet with chemicals unlocked, accessible to children. Keep this door shut. Observed disinfectant wipes accessible in D4. Chemicals and cleaning supplies need to be out of reach and inaccessible to children. **Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b).
