2-301.12 Cleaning Procedure (P) - EHS observed a food handler washing his hands after taking out the trash and turning off the faucet with his cleaned, bare hand. EHS then observed the employee put on gloves to prep food. When finished washing hands, dry them with a paper towel. Then use the paper towel to turn off the faucet. This avoids re-contaminating cleaned hands.
CDI: EHS explained to staff the proper handwashing procedure and the employee rewashed hands correctly. |
