No points were deducted for the following: 2. Observed food debris in the closet on the floor in room 203's closet. Needs to be cleaned. **Keep all flooring clean. 15A NCAC 18A .1309 (a). 5. Observed vent filters with heavy accumulation in rooms 214 and 308. Needs to be cleaned. **Keep all ventilation equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1311 (b). 10. Observed urinal missing resident's name and the date in room 203 bathroom. Ensure that urinals are being properly labeled. **Label all disposable bed pans with the residents/patients name and date. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (c). Observed disposable bed pan in need of cleaning under the handwashink sink outside of room 214. Needs to be cleaned. **All bedpans/urinals/emesis basins shall be cleaned after each use. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (c). 26. Observed high vegetation growing around dumpters area and debris around outside storage. Observed wasp nest out on patio. Ensure that premises are being kept neat and clean. 32. Observed couch torn in the common area on the 100 hallway. Observed chair in room 308 with brown staining. Needs to be cleaned. Observed one torn pillow in room 203. Pillow was removed. **All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). 43. Observed no thermometer in the bathroom in room 214. Needs to be provided in each refrigeration unit if not done so. **All refrigerators shall have a thermometer and situated so that the thermometer can be easily read. 15A NCAC 18A .1323 (b).
