General Comments

NO POINTS WERE TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING: #8 - Observed dust build-up on several restroom ceiling vents and air units. **All windows and fixtures (grills, vents, blinds, drapes, lighting fixtures, etc.) shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2412 (b). #11 - Observed aerosol cleaners/air fresheners and cleaning supplies within reach of children throughout classrooms. Ensure these items are stored per manufactures instructions (Out of Reach of Children) or stored "out of sight, out of mind." **Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b). Observed rusted stall partitions in girls 2nd and boys 3rd floor restroom. Observed loose toilet seats in girls middle school, girls 3rd floor, and boys 3rd floor restrooms. Observed pitted toilet seat in girls 2nd floor restroom. Walls and ceilings of toilet facilities shall be constructed of non-absorbent, washable materials and shall be kept clean. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (b).Toilet fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2408 (d).
