No Points Deducted: 7. Observed the thermometer in the back of the refrigerator- Infant 2. Follow the rule below. All thermometers in refrigerators shall be stored in the warmest part of the refrigerator and located to be easily readable. 15A NCAC 18A .2806 (h) (1). 28. CRITICAL: Observed liquid Benedryl stored in an unclosed/unlocked cabinet. All medications must be stored behind lock and key. 15A NCAC 18A .2820 (d). 35. Observed several rooms with 3 buckets for toy cleaning. Some of the buckets were not labeled correctly, and some of the rooms didn't have enough buckets. Also the employees did not explain the process correctly. Follow the rule below. In areas where children are not toilet trained, small mouth contact toys shall be washed, rinsed, sanitized (submerged for 2 minutes), and allowed to air dry, after use and more frequently when visibly dirty. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a).
