General Comments/ No Points Deducted! #5. Store raw meat and raw egg products below and away from other food products. Today eggs stored above gallon containers of daycare milk. Carton of raw eggs place in drawer in base of refrigeration unit.***Raw meats, poultry, fish, shellfish, and eggs shall be stored on shelving beneath and separate from other foods. 15A NCAC 18A .2806 (f) #12. Defrost and clean ice from freezer section of refrigeration units in rooms. Wipe/clean interior, edge and exterior of cabinet doors near handles in kitchen. Tighten loose handle on refrigeration unit door.***Keep all non-food contact surfaces and equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2812 (f) and .2809 (1) and (3). #34. Dust wall mounted television in discovery room. Damage toy fixture remove from infant room at time of inspection. Monitor soft climbing toy floor fixtures and replace if needed.***Toys, equipment, furniture, and any other items accessible to the children shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a), (b). Observed closet door to storage room behind book shelf unlocked and closet contained teacher purses. One purse in closet was stored less than five feet vertical distance. Touch-up paint walls throughout in rooms where needed(behind toy fixtures, storage closet and door framing to storage closets). Repair and repaint lower section of wall near blank electrical box in adventure room. Monitor floor paneling in hallway near water fountains and repair if needed. Observed floor paneling starting to crack along expansion joint. Repair damaged rug in discovery room or replace rug.
