3-202.15 Package Integrity (Pf) - Observed moderate sharp dent on seam of pizza sauce can stored among other cans for service. Food packages shall be in good condition and protect the integrity of the contents so that the food is not exposed to adulteration or potential contaminants. Per discussion with PIC and other employees, dented cans are typically removed and placed in a designated area for returns. CDI by removing and placing for return/discard. |
