General Comments

GENERAL COMMENTS NO DEMERITS FOR THE VIOLATIONS: #35. In areas where children are not toilet trained, small mouth contact toys shall be washed, rinsed, sanitized (submerged for 2 minutes), and allowed to air dry, after use and more frequently when visibly dirty. 15A NCAC 18A .2822 (a). Per teacher in infant room mouthed toys are spayed with sanitizer in sink and allowed to air dry. EHS educated facility on the proper way to clean mouthed toys. Wash with soapy water, rinse, and sanitizer, then allow to air dry. #37. Keep all floors, walls, and ceilings, clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2824 and .2825. Observed ceiling stain in laundry room. EHS advises facility ensure no active leak is occurring and replace ceiling tile. *NOTE: EHS emailed facility a toy cleaning guide. Director Addair McAndrew was present during time of inspection. She signed for inspection report and report was emailed to her at addair.mcandrew@elevationecademy.com
