Containers in which food is cooling shall be loosely covered/uncovered during cooling to facilitate heat transfer. -Bacon, chili prepared earlier in the day were store in large, sealed containers and not cooling properly in the WIC. -Cooked burger meat prepared earlier in the day was not effectively cooling due to ice melting in ice bath. CDI - PIC spread out bacon on large pan to cool, PIC added ice bath to containers of chili and vented lids; both products were put in the WIF to cool. Cooling hamburger had fresh ice added to ice bath. When checked later [see log], all products were cooling within the proper parameters. Recommend monitoring the cooling process.
