NO POINTS TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING VIOLATIONS: #8. Keep all toilet equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (b). Observed soiled tiolet in spa room on hall 500 and in room 305. General Comment. Keep all bathing equipment clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (a) and (f). Observed soiled shower chair in rooms 305 and 607. Observed shower curtian in room 210 soiled. #13. Maintain the hot water at all resident accessible handwashing sinks and bathing facilities within the temperature range of 100°F to 116°F. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (e). Observed hot water temping at 120F in room 607 and 118F in room 506. #18. Label all disposable water pitchers with the resident's/patient's first name and last name. 15A NCAC 18A .1314 (a). Observed disposable water pitchers in rooms 607 and 404 with no label. #35. Patient contact items shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (c). Observed torn pillow in room 108. #36. Cooking surfaces of equipment shall be cleaned at least once each day. 15A NCAC 18A .1320 (c). Observed microwave with heavy food residue on 200 hallway nourshiment kitchen. #43. All refrigerators shall have a thermometer and situated so that the thermometer can be easily read. 15A NCAC 18A .1323 (b). Observed no thermometer in refrigerator in room 404.
