A FOOD ESTABLISHMENT shall have written procedures for EMPLOYEES to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. The procedures shall address the specific actions EMPLOYEES must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of EMPLOYEES, consumers, FOOD, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. CDI - A copy of the clean-up plan was emailed to the person in charge. |

4-501.11 Good Repair and Proper Adjustment - Equipment (C) REPEAT. Reachin cooler on the service line was not working. There was nothing stored in the cooler. There is raw wood in cabinetry below the side counter. Raw wood is not an easily cleanable material. There is also laminate peeling off of the cabinetry below the "pick-up" area. Equipment shall be maintained in good repair. Repair, remove or replace the cooler. |

4-302.14 Sanitizing Solutions, Testing Devices (Pf) QUAT test strips were not available during the inspection. Person in charge stated that they had expired and new ones are being ordered.
A test kit or other device that accurately measures the concentration in MG/L of SANITIZING solutions shall be provided. CDI - REHS gave a few QUAT strips to the person in charge to use until they can get their new test strips. |

5-203.14 Backflow Prevention Device, When Required (P) Did not observe a backflow prevention device on the water line to the ice machine or the coffee machines. A PLUMBING SYSTEM shall be installed to preclude backflow of a solid, liquid, or gas contaminant into the water supply system at each point of use at the FOOD ESTABLISHMENT, including on a hose bibb if a hose is attached or on a hose bibb if a hose is not attached and backflow prevention is required by LAW, by: Installing an APPROVED backflow. I will return to verify that backflow prevention device has been installed on the water line to the coffee machines within 3 days. Ice machine is Hoshizaki and may have an internal air gap. If so, provide documentation of this and an backflow prevention device would not be needed for the ice machine. |

6-101.11 Surface Characteristics - Indoor Areas (C) REPEAT - There is some wall damage on the wall beside the ice machine. There are also a couple of cracked floor tiles in the same room (across the hall from the cafe) and small holes in the wall. Floors, floor coverings, walls, wall coverings, and ceilings shall be designed, constructed, and installed so they are smooth and easily cleanable. |
