Each child in diapers shall be changed while the child is in his/her own crib or bed or on a smooth, nonabsorbent, easily cleanable surface. Section 14 (a).- Observed diaper changing table, on top there is a cloth diaper pad/mattress with cloth “water prof” protector. A child was changed on that surface for extra cushion. EHS suggested to obtain a non absorbing pad/mattress (vinyl material), not have to use a pad protector. Detail discussed for proper sanitation purposes at the time of inspection. |
