3-501.18 Discard the food requiring date labels once time/temperature window has expired, if it is not been labeled, or if the label is incorrect. -P Observed multiple pre-packaged deli meats in walk in cooler past the manufacturer's "best buy" date. Best buy dates included 5/27, 6/3 and 6/10. CDI- PIC voluntarily discarded these items as facility uses manufacturer's best buy date as an expiration date for the product. |
