#3. Keep all walls and ceilings clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1310. Continue to wipe/clean walls throughout where needed; if needed (area under soap dispenser in bathroom in hallway). Continue to touch-up paint throughout where needed; if needed. #8. Keep all handwashing facilities clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1312 (b). Observed slow draining handwashing sink in work area behind nurse station on third floor. Observed slow draining hand washing sink in common bathroom in hallway area on third floor. Repair all slow draining hand washing sinks. Tighten loose toilet seat in common bathroom on third floor. Caulk/seal side and back splash to counter tops around hand washing sink where needed (hand washing sink at work area behind nurse station and throughout in rooms where needed). #32. All furniture, bed springs, mattresses, sleeping mats, draperies, curtains, shades, venetian blinds, or other furnishings in institutions shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .1319 (a). Observed tape adhesive on (1) mattress. Thoroughly clean tape adhesive from mattresses. Wipe/dust top of furniture/fixtures in rooms.
