General CommentsNew plaster of swimming pool. Contractor, Jim Kappius, confirmed that drain covers were not replaced; however, plaster color for zero entry appears to be <50% light reflectance. Provide documentation showing light reflectance value for zero entry area. If plaster does not meet code requirements, may require repair prior to 2022 operating permit. Note: Dump buckets and squirting fish removed during renovation. Pump taken apart. No suction. Filtration pump motor replaced. Spoke with electrician during site visit. Pool open to the public. Recommend voluntarily closing until electrical permit is pulled and permit/pump has inspected. Will refer to Code Enforcement. Ensure spare pump baskets are provided for filtration pump. Operator stated they were brought outside to be cleaned. Recommendations: 1) Move the body hook so accessible and visible to the public at all times. Currently hidden on wall and behind equipment. 2) Provide barrier, ie. meshing, around slide to eliminate access to public under slide. Intent to Suspend issued for chemical reagents, main drain checks, wall depth markers, pool doors, flow meter inoperable and leak at pump. Jill Cason and Nelson Morgan present during the inspection.
