.2530(b) Two units of lifesaving equipment (or two lifeguards) must be provided for pools that exceed 3,000 sq. ft. surface area. Observed pool surface area greater than 3,000 SQFT. Observed 1 body hook on site and 1 lifeguard on site. An additional lifeguard (or ring buoy with 50 foot rope attached) and 1 additional body hook is required to be on site at all times. Larry, the CPO, has agreed to maintain 2 lifeguards actively on duty at all times the pool is open for business and is in use. EHS recommended purchasing a ring buoy. |
