Some doors onto pool deck are not self-latching. The are self closing. All doors leading onto the pool deck (entrance doors, locker room doors, staff access doors) that lead to the outside must either be self-closing and self-latching, or be audibly alarmed to alert when the door is opened. This was noted on the previous inspection and corrected. Today, none of the alarms installed functioned when first checked. Some were broken, some had sensors missing, and at least one seemed to have been intentionally turned off. C. Elmore corrected two alarms, but was unable to correct the others. One door in the back corner of the pool enclosure (left most door of the pair, grey in color) was found to be not fully self closing. These doors must be corrected and kept in compliance. I.T.S. Issued. Expires 3/22/18. |

Observed deck coating to be peeling up and presenting a damaged/worn surface. This must be repaired to provide a smooth deck free from hazards and easy to clean. Failure to correct this may result in a deadline for compliance. C. Elmore has been advised that the deck will be resurfaced in the spring. This was noted on the previous inspection. |
