.2530(f) Emergency phone shall remain operable. Observed pool side emergency phone to be unable to transmit voice communication at the time of inspection. Aquatic director’s office phone was made available as a temporary emergency phone. This phone is a VOIP phone and 911 calls from it do not go directly to local 911, but instead to the national 911 call center in Colorado where they could be routed. The pool side emergency phone must be corrected, the temporary use of the office phone cannot be a permanent correction. The office must remain open and accessible for the duration of the temporary use when the pool is open so that the phone can be accessed. Signs with the address, phone number, and dialing instructions were placed, as was a sign indicating where the temporary 911 phone is located. C. Elmore will follow-up on the phone on Monday 3/2/2026. Failure to correct the pool side emergency phone may result in closure of the pool until it is corrected. |
