6. EHS was able to verify function of the emergency phone, but audio was not 100% clear, some interference is present. EHS recommends replacing the phone unit. 13. Observed slight paint fading on the contrasting color bands of the steps into the pool. Bands are still visible. Signage for the fountain feature was present, stating "FOUNTAIN ONLY NO SWIMMING".

The brick fence that extends along this ramp is 26 inches high, with a metal rail extending from it. However, the metal rail is 3 inches from the edge of the brick, and is elevated 2 inches off of the top of the brick, allowing a foot hold. Points deducted but no permit action taken as allowed under 15A NCAC 18A .2528 (c) "Public swimming pools permitted prior to April 1, 2010 with existing fences that do not comply with the dimensional requirements of Subparagraphs (a)(1) through (a)(6) and (b)(1) through (b)(2) shall not be denied an operation permit solely due to the preexisting non-compliance.
