.2530(a) Provide a USCG-approved ring buoy. A rescue tube with a lifeguard may be substituted for a ring buoy. Observed two ring buoys at the pool. One ring buoy was USCG approved; the second ring buoy was not USCG approved. During the inspection, the CPO removed the non-approved ring buoy, leaving the required USCG-approved ring buoy available for use. |
