General Comments

.2521 - Tiled contrast color bands on steps and benches measured 1+1/4 inches to start of bullnose. Use of contrasting color tiles installed in the stair tread is acceptable provided the tiles are spaced no more than one inch from the edge of the tread. When season ends and water is lowered for other repairs around perimeter of pool, recommend adding paint to extend contrasting band from tile edge to at least the beginning of bullnose on step edges. Contrasting color band should measure at least 2 inches wide visible from above the stairs. No night swimming permitted. Local permit (yellow sticker) number 0978.
