General Comments-- #6 Pool has 3 skimmers. EHS observed that each equalizer line has been plugged inside the skimmer and on the pool wall. Plugs appear to require tools to remove. CPO (J. Mullis) stated that she was informed that the equalizer lines were drained & plugs were installed on 5/8/17 and that a new PDSC form has been or is going to be submitted to the MCHD. GC -- #6 Current PDSC form indicates that the pool pump is a Sta-Rite model # P4R6G3 w/ HP 2. PDSC form verified to be incorrect in field. EHS observed an old Sta-Rite Maxi-E-Glas pump w/ an Emerson 2 HP replacement motor. No identifying information is present on the pool pump and it may not be a model currently listed in the EHS pump field guide. EHS suspects from review of old circa 1987 Sta-Rite Max-E-Glas literature that the pump may be model PE5GL/ HP 2; however, no pump flow chart found. ** Trident Pool Group is responsible for the positive identification of the pump and providing its maximum pump flow. A new PDSC form must be submitted to the MCHD & the form must be approved by K. Wilson prior to the pool permit being issued. GC -- #15 Pool field book indicates pool throw rope length of 24'. Pool has an irregular "kidney" shape. With the assistance of CPO, maximum pool width determined to be ~24' . ** Throw rope shall be 1.5 times max. width of pool or 50' , which ever is less. EHS re-established throw rope length to 36' and 36' new throw installed on ring buoy while EHS on-site. GC -- #21 CPO reports pool lighting insufficient for night swimming and pool hours are from dawn to dusk. No pool hours posted. CPO wrote pool hours of dawn to dusk on standard pool rules sign posted inside pool enclosure while EHS on-site. Standard pool rules sign is visible from pool entrance gate. Pool entrance gate can only be opened via key inserted into gate handle and CPO states residents are issued a key to the pool gate. ** EHS recommends relocating standard pool rules sign to front gate or posting an additional pool sign with hours of operation dusk to dawn in large bold print on front gate. EHS further recommends that gate be secured with a chain w/ lock (or by some other means) when pool is not open to prevent access. POOL PERMIT CANNOT BE ISSUED UNTIL A NEW PDSC FORM IS SUBMITTED TO THE MCHD AND THE FORM IS APPROVED BY K. WILSON.
