.2528(a) Access gates shall swing away from the pool and be self-latching, self-closing unless an attendant AND lifeguard are present.
.2528(a) Gate latches located at less than 54" shall require the use of key, combination lock or card reader or be located on the inside of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate with no greater than 1/2" within 18" of latch mechanism. Main entrance gate was not closing all of the way to the latch. CPO installed a new spring and gate closed and latched properly. Both gates had a 1.5 inch gap directly next to the release latch. CPO installed signs on the gates to close gap to under 1/2 inch. |
