General Comments

NO POINTS WERE TAKEN FOR THE FOLLOWING: #5 - Observed backsplash detached from wall in boys gym locker room. **Fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2409 (b). #8 - Observed dust build-up on several ceiling vents of restrooms. **All windows and fixtures (grills, vents, blinds, drapes, lighting fixtures, etc.) shall be kept clean and in good repair. 15A NCAC 18A .2412 (b). #11 - Observed Lysol disinfectant wipes and other cleaning chemicals being stored on tables and low shelves throughout hallways, classrooms, and lunch room. EHS recommended storing chemicals out of sight or on higher shelving. Observed chemicals being stored on shelf above paper towels in custodial closet A125. EHS suggested switching the storage order to prevent contamination of paper products. **Pesticides and other toxic materials shall be used as directed on the label and handled and stored as to avoid health hazards. 15A NCAC 18A .2415 (b).
